Contemporaneous hosts the ultimate jam session at SMOG on the campus of Bard College. We will be playing Terry Riley's masterwork In C, a piece that can be played by any number of any instruments, for any length of time and we want everyone – all instrument and voice types – to come and participate. If you can read music, you can play In C. In this performance, we will also present the world premiere of Contemporaneous co-artistic director Dylan Mattingly's new work 2,953 Miles (39 Days & 6 Hours), our first ever world premiere.
