Olin Hall, Bard College
Free and open to the public

This eclectic program of fresh, new music is our debut performance and includes works by six highly talented emerging composers and two established professionals, all drawn from around the world. Most of the works of this concert have never been heard in the area, allowing us to present three New York premieres, an East Coast premiere, and two United States premieres in this performance alone.

Among the most prestigious composers living today, Ingram Marshall (of Connecticut) and Luís Tinoco (of Portugal) represent two very different artistic approaches to music and have contributed exhilarating works for this innovative performance. The eight works on our inaugural concert display diverse influences, which, though being very different, all run parallel to one another contemporaneously in our present time.
