Contemporaneous joins the deeply communicative and adventurous soprano Dawn Upshaw in a performance of Shawn Jaeger's The Cold Pane. Upshaw commissioned and premiered this poignant cycle of five songs that set texts by Kentucky writer Wendell Berry.
This performance marks the opening night of the third annual Resonant Bodies Festival, an annual series of contemporary vocal music, directed by Contemporaneous soprano and executive director, Lucy Dhegrae. The evening also features performances by sopranos Lucy Shelton and Tony Arnold.
