DANIEL KOCHERSBERGER

SAXOPHONE

Saxophonist Daniel Kochersberger, originally from Canandaigua, New York, is active in the New York contemporary music scene. In addition to orchestral appearances with the New World Symphony, Mansfield Symphony, and the Oberlin Orchestra, Daniel has performed as a soloist, recitalist and chamber player with the Contemporary Music Ensemble of Oberlin, the Chamber Winds Ensemble of Manhattan, and the Manhattan Wind Symphony. He is also the tenor saxophonist of the Manhattan Saxophone Quartet, which recently made its Lincoln Center debut. Daniel received his B.M. from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and his M.M. from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Dr. Paul Cohen.
